Beautiful building and amazing location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly as well. The room and bathroom were a good size and very clean.

The location of this property was great! Right at the top of country club plaza and within a short walk to the Kansas City Art Institute where I was dropping off my daughter for the summer. My first night in Kansas City I had a very bad experience at another hotel in town so it was a welcome relief to find this property on Booking.com and come to a beautiful historic builing, with comfy beds and and close to restaurants. (*pic is the milk closets that are a historical part of the property)

The building is well maintained and clean. Very quiet, comfortable and spacious room, super friendly staff. The bed was a bit too soft for my back but not a serious issue. And the location was great with easy parking, a very functional lobby. Good restaurants near by. I will stay here again, definitely.

This is a lovely old apartment building that's been updated to hotel nicely; the room was spacious with big windows and lots of them. Nice big windows in the bathroom even. It may be one of my favorite hotels ever. Location was great; just on the edge of Country Club Plaza so that was all within walking distance. There's a pretty park right across the road.

The staff here, namely Brian, made our stay phenomenal. Excellent hospitality, comfortable, cozy rooms, great facilities, and convenient to the plaza. The price is a great deal for what you're getting. I also like the provided toiletries and the beds are so comfy!

We loved the location: within walking distance of the Plaza and only a blink away from St. Luke's Hospital. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. There's also an outdoor pool.

Wonderful location. Country Club Plaza is a great place to walk with great restaurant options. Nelson Atkins Art Museum in walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful.

breakfast was great. they allowed us to adjust our selection to meet some dietary restrictions we have. super friendly & helpful. this is just across the street from a city park with one of the most beautiful fountains in the city. one block off the square with shops & architecture that we enjoyed as well.
